Mobimpe Calls Out Fake YouTube Channel for Stealing Her Name and Content

Nollywood actress and producer Mobimpe Adedimeji has publicly called out a YouTube channel for alleged impersonation and blatant content theft. In a strongly worded statement, the actress expressed deep frustration over a channel named “Mobimpewrite’s Stories,” which she claims has been copying her videos, posters, captions, and overall brand style, deceiving viewers into thinking it’s her official content.

Mobimpe, the creative force behind Mobimpe TV, revealed that the unauthorized channel doesn’t just imitate her—it waits for her to post content, then replicates it almost immediately, often word-for-word.

“I’m tired. I’m fed up. Someone created a YouTube channel just to copy everything I do. Video for video. Poster for poster. She waits for me to post, then uploads the same thing, tricking people into believing it’s me,” Mobimpe wrote in a post shared with her fans.

The situation escalated when, on her mother’s birthday, the impersonating channel allegedly stole her heartfelt tribute post, copying both the visuals and emotional caption.

“That’s not inspiration. That’s disrespectful,” she said.

A Call for Action

Mobimpe revealed that her team has tried to report the impersonating page, but the channel has continued operating despite multiple complaints. Feeling mentally drained, she decided to break her silence and speak up publicly.

“I don’t talk much, but today, I need to speak out. And she’s NOT THE ONLY ONE, but today, I’m starting with her,” she declared.

She appealed to her loyal fanbase to mass-report the fake YouTube page, asking them to take action by flagging Mobimpewrite’s Stories for impersonation and intellectual property theft.

Protecting Her Brand

Mobimpe emphasized the years of dedication she’s invested into building Mobimpe TV, stating that her work was born out of passion, creativity, and sleepless nights—not something to be hijacked by online opportunists.

“I built MOBIMPE TV with tears, passion, and consistency, and I won’t let someone else ruin that or hijack what I’ve poured my heart and soul into,” she said.

She also called on fans and legal experts for help:

“If you know ANY solid way to bring these channels down—legally, technically—please drop a comment or send a DM. What this person is doing is extremely risky, too risky!”

Final Warning

In a direct message to the impersonator, Mobimpe didn’t mince words:

“To the person behind that page, I know you’re seeing this. Just know that you will not go scot-free. You’re impersonating me and deceiving people—and you will be caught. Soon.”

As of now, Mobimpe is actively exploring legal options to protect her intellectual property and put an end to digital impersonation and content theft.
