Who Will Take Over as Kate Middleton’s Stylist?

She has held one of the most coveted positions in fashion for 15 years, but the time has finally come for Natasha Archer, Kate Middleton‘s stylist, to step down. Archer, who was promoted to senior private executive assistant to Prince William and Kate in 2022, is reportedly leaving the Palace to set up her own private styling consultancy – but who will take her place?
Some online are whispering that the frontrunner for the in-demand position is currently Ginnie Chadwyck-Healey, a former Vogue editor who is also a trusted friend of the couple – a fellow alumna of the University of St Andrews, she crossed paths with Kate and William as a teenager. Chadwyck-Healey, the daughter of the 3rd Lord Strathalmond, studied History of Art just like the Princess of Wales and also met her own husband, ex-Etonian Oliver Chadwick-Healy, while at the university. The couple, who live in Berkshire, share three children together – Nany, Maggie and Walter – and are clearly still on close terms with William and Kate, whose wedding they attended in 2011.
Chadwyck-Healey worked at Vogue for 12 years, before leaving her job as executive retail editor in order to spend more time with her children and set up her own consultancy, VCH Style. ‘It was, of course, very hard to leave – for both my wardrobe and my sense of self,’ she told The Telegraph of her lifestyle shake-up. ‘I do feel a slight relief that I don’t have to be on top of the trends season after season. By 9am, my conversation is probably more about spilt Shreddies than Sacai, and my shopping list is more likely to include bleach than Balenciaga. But that’s not ‘motherhood’ or ‘living in the country’ – no, that is just real life.’
