Victoria Beckham and Geri Halliwell are reportedly planning to skip Mel B’s upcoming wedding to hairstylist Rory McPhee, despite the event being billed as one of the most glamorous celebrity celebrations of the year.
Speculation is also swirling that another Spice Girl—either Emma Bunton or Melanie Chisholm—might not attend, potentially leaving Mel with only a few of her former bandmates present on her big day.
A source revealed, “Victoria already has long-standing commitments abroad and won’t be able to make it. She and Mel still get along well despite their lives heading in different directions. There’s no bad blood—just unfortunate timing.”
On the other hand, Geri’s absence may come as less of a surprise, considering the history of tension between her and Mel B. Their relationship reportedly soured in 2019 after Mel B revealed on Piers Morgan’s show that they’d shared a brief intimate encounter during their early Spice Girls days. The revelation reportedly upset Geri, who never received an apology, leaving a lingering strain. Geri’s husband, Christian Horner, was said to be particularly embarrassed by the situation.
