Victoria Beckham’s New Haircut Has Everyone Talking—Throwback to Her Poshest Era
The bob is the trim of the season—just ask the ladies from The White Lotus, Pamela Anderson, or Emily in Paris/Rome. While the bob may be making a serious comeback in 2025, the true queen of the haircut first rocked the look roughly 30 years ago. Cast your mind back to 1996 and one very specific bob is sure to spring to mind. Yes, I am, of course, speaking of the iconic bob worn by Victoria Beckham, a.k.a. Posh Spice. Well, it seems Beckham was having a rather nostalgic moment and was more than ready to spice up her life, because the bob is back.
Naturally, Beckham’s throwback look features a few modern updates. Debuting the look in an Instagram story, Beckham showed off a noticeably shorter trim that was just a little longer than chin length—in other words, that just-so length that she famously wore in her Posh Spice days. However, instead of going for a sleek, stick straight, dark brown bob, she updated the ’90s look by adding a gentle wave and some lighter, layered ends.
Her new trim shouldn’t come as a huge surprise. After all, back in 2022, Beckham reflected on her past hair choices in a TIkTok video, saying simply, “Yes,” next to an image of her 1996 era bob.
Beckham’s new bob is the shortest trim the former pop star has had in a while. For the past few years, she’s been wearing her hair long, however, back in September, she debuted a longer lob, another look that recalled a famous Posh Spice look.
Beckham’s new look comes on the heels of the news that the fashion designer will soon become a lady following her husband David Beckham‘s knighthood.
